My passion for helping and healing others has always fueled my career. After I received my degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Albany, NY in 2016, I provided rehabilitative care to the adult and geriatric population at various skilled nursing settings. Building on my OT foundation, I attended Myofascial Release (MFR) seminar taught by the father of MFR, John F. Barnes in April, 2019, and immediately felt I found my purpose. After seeing the results MFR can provide in relieving pain in myself & clinical patients, I knew this technique was the missing link in healthcare. Feeling strongly to the benefits of this work, I have committed myself to continue studying this valuable therapy. So far, I've completed over 100 contact hours of John Barnes MFR seminars and spent 40 hours practicing alongside Expert MFR practitioners at John Barnes treatment center, The Sanctuary, in Malvern, PA to further improve my techniques and build new skills.
Fractal Bodyworks was born from my lifetime love of learning. Fractals have been a reoccurring element in my life, from my young love of photographing nature, to my fervent interest in geology & human anatomy, I always find myself drawn to fractals. It reappeared again when I studied the intricate repeating patterns of the fascial system in John Barnes MFR seminars. Fractals exist everywhere. And with the similar physical properties, and symbiotic relationship we share with trees, its hard to deny our connection with nature.
In my spare time, I find great joy in traveling, hiking, biking, and yoga, as well as spending time with my rescue fur baby, Otto.
